Job Title: Developing Level Bookkeeper

Job Overview:
We are expanding our services and are seeking an entry level bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong bookkeeping education with willingness to learn and grow with a dynamic team. Join our team as a Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant to contribute to the growth and success of our organization.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining financial records for multiple clients and ensuring they are up to date.

- Perform clerical tasks such as data entry, filing, and organizing financial documents.

- Assist in balance sheet reconciliation and account analysis.

- Support account reconciliation processes.

- Learn and apply financial concepts under the guidance of management.

- Communicate with new clients to determine their needs.

- Manage general ledger accounting tasks.

- Support senior staff in administrative tasks.

- Record financial transactions and post debits/credits

- Maintain and balance general ledgers

- Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information

- Reconcile bank statements

- Maintain historical records by filing documents

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in accounting or finance

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software

- Attention to detail and accuracy

- Strong organizational and time management skills

- Proficiency in QuickBooks

- Excellent customer service skills

- A team-player is a must.
